Biocryl Form-X is a radiographic stent material which allows tooth position communication on CT scan images, and simplifies the stent fabrication process. Form-X adapts to a replica of the diagnostic wax-up model or directly to a composite mock-up. Form-X trims easily and quickly with scissors or electric spatula. The trimmed appliance is inserted in the patient's mouth prior to CT scan. It shows crisp, distinct outlines, and contours on the CT scan image, to help determine implant angle and emergence to conform within the planned prosthesis.
Note: Form-X Square is designed for use with Vacuum Machines and Older Style Biostars. Form-X Round is designed for use with Biostar and MiniSTAR thermal-forming machines.
