When you attend a course at Great Lakes, you'll receive intensive, one-on-one training from professionals. All Great Lakes trainers are Certified Dental Technicians and have a minimum of 25 years orthodontic experience. They will guide you step-by-step through every phase of fabrication from basic theory to technical procedures and construction.

Senior Instructor and Research & Development Technical Specialist
Brian Willison joined Great Lakes in 1981 as a lab technician. In 1989, after extensive training, he became an instructor and obtained National Board Certification in the field of orthodontics. Brian joined the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997 as a faculty member and laboratory lecturer in the Orthodontic Department of the School of Dental Medicine. He has published a variety of articles in industry journals and lectures at numerous seminars worldwide. Brian coauthored the book, "Practical Guide to Orthodontic Appliances...A Comprehensive Resource from Theory to Fabrication". Brian has also been involved in many patents in the dental field.
