The interchangeable EMA® elastic strap is used with the EMA appliance to
increase airway space by advancing the mandible. The EMA elastic strap
comes in four strengths and various lengths. The shorter the elastic
strap, the farther the mandible is advanced. Multiple interchangeable
strap variations allow for the most gentle and effective repositioning,
resulting in maximum patient comfort.
