This unique hardware allows the clinician to advance the mandible in .25mm increments (up to 5mm) by making one full turn of the protrusion nut into the hardware. An end stop in the guiding sleeve prevents the rod and tube from disengaging. Improved design helps maintain the proper mandibular positioning. Important: Herbst Telescopic Hardware should be used for snoring and sleep apnea appliances only.
