This RES ratchet expansion screw can be advanced up to 11mm in controlled .25mm increments. Each .25mm turn of the screw (front to back) produces an audible "click". A built-in safety feature prevents separation of the screw intraorally. The unique ratchet clip prevents unwanted backup.It is important to use the supplied RES key, as other keys can distort and damage the clip.
