Welcome UB Orthodontic Residents

My name is Brian Willison and I am the instructor for the State University of New York at Buffalo's Orthodontic Laboratory Techniques Course. The course begins on Monday, July 24th and concludes Friday, July 28th. Please click here for the detailed course schedule.

The Orthodontic Lab Techniques Course is a one week introductory session designed for incoming Orthodontic Residents from the University at Buffalo to develop technical skills necessary for clinical and laboratory procedures. Attendees will also learn a variety of laboratory devices that can be used alone, or in conjunction with fixed orthodontic appliances (braces). The session will be conducted at the Daniel J. Miller Training Center at Great Lakes Dental Technologies headquarters.

A great reference to have for the Orthodontic Laboratory Techniques Session is a book published and available at Great Lakes titled: Practical Guide to Orthodontic Appliances...A Comprehensive Resource from Theory to Fabrication, authored by Dr. Stephen Warunek and myself. Please contact Great Lakes Product Customer Service at 800.828.7626 to order your book. This book is an optional purchase. You will receive a course syllabus at session.

Please take time to browse our website to learn more about our company, products, and available programs. If you have any questions regarding this session, please feel free to contact me at any time. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Sincerely,

Brian D. Willison CDT
